Dear All,
would anybody care to give details about the attached diagram? I'm sure it is a table of the cittas, but am wondering about the little half moon thingys? Is there a site anyone knows of that details this or shows how it is used as a teaching aid?
Metta and peace,
Bowing and thanks,
Abhaya (Andrew)

Re: This Diagram
It's an Abhidhamma chart of the 89 or 121 kinds of citta. Starting from the left...
1st column
The first four rows are the 12 unwholesomes.
The second three rows are the 18 rootless resultants.
2nd column
8 great wholesomes.
8 great resultants.
8 great functionals.
The rest are the 15 refined-form and 12 formless jhāna cittas and the 8 or 40 supramundane cittas.

Re: This Diagram
Dear Venerable Sir,
Thank you for the reply and the detail. I would then make out the half moon thingys to be the two types of body consciousness, accompanied by pain and pleasure. Does that sound right?
