nibbana and citta, parinibbana and citta

Post by confusedlayman »

in abhidhamma of theraveda or any tradition (that accept immediate rebirth conventionally), nibbana exp have arising of cittas or absence of all cittas is what nibbana is?

what does citta and cestakas role during nibbana or parinibbana (if this is explained) ? if nibbana citta has no cause, where it is now? or there is no citta itself in nibbana?

can someone answer me from abhidhamma prespective and how i should understand this?
You can become king of world with all the wealth but it is not equal to 0.1 % of jhana pleasure...

if nibbana citta has no cause
Nibbana has no cause

Citta has cause

Nibbana citta (citta that knows Nibbana as sense object) has cause

Nibbana is not a citta

Nibbana citta means a citta that knows Nibbana
There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

unlikely nibbana citta is the absence of all cittas

i am searching for the term 'nibbana citta'

so far i have found the term 'nibbānārammaṇā'
Concise Pali English Dictionary
ārammaṇa
neuter
a sense-object.
here:
Cittas with only Nibbāna object are 8
Supramundane consciousness (lokuttara)
Cittas and their objects
1. Sense-sphere objects
2. Sublime objects
3. Concept objects
4. Nibbāna object
if u can understand the following, u can understand everything, it seems:
Abhidhamma teaches that ultimate reality consists of four elementary constituents: Nibbāna, which is unconditioned, and citta, cetasika and rūpa (meaning consciousness, mental factors and matter, respectively) that are conditioned. They are also called dhamma. Dhamma literally means to hold its own nature and characteristics [sabhava]. Dhammas are natural laws that are always true. Thus, Abhidhamma describes the dhammas, their characteristics, their functions and their relations. All conceptual entities, such as self or person, are resolved into their ultimates, i.e., into bare mental and material phenomena that are impermanent.
