Teaching of Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda

Post by SarathW »

This is a video taken from the live discourses by living enlightened master Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
Very interesting to compare his teaching with Buddha's teaching.
I invite you to give your opinion.

I can't understand this man's accent

Can you summarize the similarities and differences you found?
What is the Uncreated?
Sublime & free, what is that obscured Eternity?
It is the Undying, the Bright, the Isle.
It is an Ocean, a Secret: Reality.
Both life and oblivion, it is Nirvāṇa.

According to Vedic teaching, the time is the gap between two thoughts. (Shana) Hense time is varied depending on the person.
For instance, ten years in the human world may be one day in Deva wold. (ie. Thoughts per second (TPS) is higher in the human world)
For instance even in the human world when you are dreaming say you TPS say 1000
TPS in waking hours say 100 and TPS in Jhana state are Zero.

Then he goes on to say what is there is only the observer and everything else is Maya. (illusion)
According to Buddha, even consciousness is an illusion. There is no observer as such.
