Does "not-self" concept of Mahayana different to Theravada?
It appears the Mahayana concept of not-self is different to Theravada teaching.

Subtle body and mind is designation of a self.
If body and mind is namarupa, i think its compatible to dependent origination. That self is not independetly existent but has origin.
You can say it is not self but if you understand the idea behind it then saying there is a self isn't wrong either.
