1 Truths can be spoken, but not the absolute truth; therefore a truth suited to discourse wouldn't be the truth itself. What cannot be named is the source itself. Having names is the common denominator of all things. Given this, have no partiality in order to contemplate the mystery. Always have intention to see objectively. These both mean the same, yet differ in definition. My repeating it suggests the profundity of this point. A depth of greater understanding leads to a threshold.

I don't know how many translations I have read over the years but I have settled on the one by Man-Ho Kwok, Martin Palmer and Jay Ramsay as my preferred version, partly for the reasons given here viewtopic.php?t=30486#p442695 and partly because I like a certain level of ambiguity/suggestiveness.
