When we were young there was very large (one and a half meter long) snake in our garden.
My mother asked the snake to not to come again as there are children.
Generally, I speak to the birds in my garden.
It never came back.

Jetsunma is amazing !

I've always talked to all kinds of creatures, both large and small, - and can remember holding a solemn funeral for a dead Robin found in my parents back garden when I was a small child.

I talk to birds, horses, cows, plants, trees . . . and my cat.

I have heard several stories of mknastics or lamas asking insects to leave and sometimes chanting a mantra or dharani, and they left.

Outwards and unbounded,"

I've done that with ants - used to have a big infestation. I "told them" (mentally) that they had better leave, for their own good (otherwise other people in the house would kill them). There are still ants in the house, but they seem to be relatively few and far between now.
