The Here And Now Project

Quite interesting.

The Here&Now Project is an invitation to re-imagine the role of meditation in the 21st century. What will happen when the transformative power of mindfulness-based meditation meets the digital, social and cultural realities of our times? How can we maximise its potential? What does that even mean?

Getting richer and more productive is not making us happier. More and more people are looking to spirituality and meditation to help make sense of the buzzing confusion of 21st century life but are being put off by religious or therapeutic trappings. To be as effective as possible, meditation needs to embrace the realities of our lives today and get better at speaking its language.

Mindfulness is the capacity to be aware and allowing of whatever is going on in our experience. Although a natural quality we all have, when we use the exercise of meditation to build it like a muscle, mindfulness can enable a sense of clarity and freedom which benefits us and everyone around us

Meditation means different things to different people. And while the word can be used to describe a wide variety of practices & methods – they are all based on one big idea…by training your mind you can improve your wellbeing
Let it come. Let it be. Let it go.
