Life of the Buddha

Post by tiltbillings » Sat Feb 21, 2009 6:47 am

Clyde, whomever he might be and thanks to him, posted this on Zen Forum International: ... p=111#p111" onclick=";return false;
For an enjoyable and inspiring series of talks about the actual life of the Buddha as found in the suttas, listen to Stephen Batchelor’s eight talks given at Spirit Rock Meditation Center on The Life and Death of Siddhattha Gotama:

Meditation:" onclick=";return false;
Renunciation:" onclick=";return false;
Awaking:" onclick=";return false;
The First and Second Sermons:" onclick=";return false;
From Deer Park to Jeta’s Grove:" onclick=";return false;
Self and Society:" onclick=";return false;
Exile:" onclick=";return false;
Death :" onclick=";return false;
These are really very good, worth spending with, no matter what else one might think of Batchelor.
