Greetings Sarath,

Where there is arising, there is the seeds of suffering.

What could an arahant give rise to which could cause an arahant to suffer?

Metta,
Paul. :)

Thanks Retro.
Does this mean that I am suffering when I write this post and you are also suffering when you answer my post?
I assume you are not an Arahant.

Yes. In my understanding, Arahants don't suffer but everyone else is subject to suffering.

Are you suffering, or just giving rise to the potential for suffering?

This is just a guess. If you become enlightened right now , looking back you would say. 'oh' i was suffering. Now this is peaceful and cool.

Wish you all success in all your endeavours. Goodbye!

That's quite possible, but there is also sukha, and one should not focus on dukkha to the exclusion of sukha.

After all, Dhamma conversation with a kalayana-mitta like Sarath is a pleasant experience!
