Searching for a sutta...

Post by NuanceOfSuchness »

Hi. I'm searching for a sutta in which it is described how one monk ferreted out what I believe to be the enlightenment factors as described in the Satipatthana suttu.

Hope you can help with this. I realise it's quite vague.

Thanks in advance.

All I can think of is the Anupada sutta but that refers to jhanas.

Yes, this is the one. Thank you. I've been having quite big jhanic experiences for the past year outside of meditation and I'm trying to move through them. So far, they bring knowledge, but the aftereffects are suffering (because they arise, abide and disperse) which one can derive further knowledge from if one is astute and disciplined.
