Your 2018 Vesak plans

Post by BKh » Mon Apr 23, 2018 4:19 pm

Thought it would be interesting to see what people are doing for Vesak, either at public events or privately.

If you are in Colombo, you might want to check this out. It will be in English...

My sister is due for having a baby that week, so I might fly to Boston then or earlier to bless my second niece or my first nephew. We don't know. If she had the child earlier I'm going to visit then, and if my Vesak is free from family obligations I will visit the temple and give Dana to the local monks or Bhavana center

I hope to stay for a month or so at the monastery near Wellington, New Zealand. To support the monks and have some quiet time.
Also go visit my father, go sailing in the cold winter water, and who knows what else.
