In fact our body functions to process energy required by the earth.
Where you get this information?
According to this analysis, the earth is a living organism like human and animal.
Buddha never said this.
This is more close to Hindu idea of the mother earth.

This is concluded after comparisons of agganna sutta, Rohitassa sutta, Rahulovada sutta mainly in comparison with astronomy and bio sciences and meditation. As this had been a deep analysis , a quote of a single sutta cannot be given. ( But I have written a book on this and published) A prologue to this book was written by Ven Hemarathana him , chief high priest of Yatagala and situlpauva temples ensuring accepance of the facts.
Further that one of the main ideology of processing of energy is arrived at mainly with paticca samuppada ensures Hinduism is not involved. Further these said processing of energies as a bio science is only functioning in the biospheres of the earth and thus the whole earth is not involved in this process.
Well Kalama sutta explains that we should explore to arrive at the truth.
