Phra Ajahn Plien Panyapatipo passed away?

Post by KarmaFarmer »

Hello everyone

I have heard recently that Phra Ajahn Plien Panyapatipo has passed away on 15 February 2018 (from the Facebook page of the Vimokharam Forest Hermitage in Australia).

I haven’t been able to verify from other sources, but if correct it’s a sad day indeed.

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

I found some news on a German website :

"Samstag, 26. Mai 2018 (Vorabend)

19 Uhr Gedenkfeier zum 100. Tag nach dem Ableben von LP Plian Paññapadipo"

100 days after the death of ajahn plien they will do a ceremony.

Sad moment for the world.
