Ajahn Dick Silaratano, disciple of Ajahn Maha Boowa, is establishing a new 215-acre forest monastery in rural Virginia. This monastery will be in the Dhammayut lineage.
The address is:

now there's two great monks in virginia of all places.
edit: i guess bhavana society is west virginia
Just keep breathing in and out like this. Don't be interested in anything else. It doesn't matter even if someone is standing on their head with their ass in the air. Don't pay it any attention. Just stay with the in-breath and the out-breath. Concentrate your awareness on the breath. Just keep doing it. http://www.ajahnchah.org/book/Just_Do_It_1_2.php

Is there a website for Ajahn Dick's monastery? I might go to bhavana next month and would love to swing by his place for a visit.

I stayed there and just came back a week ago, its a really beautiful place. Just so you know, they are still in construction.
I was born naked.
My beloved parents
kindly gave me a name.
When I reached twenty
I thought "a name is a chain,
I want to abandon it".
Whoever I questioned
No one answers me.
When I hear the wind in the pines
I get an answer.

I'm planning to go there around May to practice and help with the construction. I'm intending to ordain as an Anagrika and eventually take full ordination and study under Tan Ajaan. It says on the site there are 5-6 laymen intending on ordaining is there any limit on how long one can stay there? Anumodana :anjali:
When I set out to practice, I had only one book — the Patimokkha — in my shoulder bag. Now I was going for the full path and the full results.-Luang Ta Maha Boowa NanaSampanno

I wonder, does Ajahn Silaratano teach anatta, or does he teach what Ajahn Maha Boowa taught on that matter?
Then,
saturated with joy,
you will put an end to suffering and stress.
