Ajahn Kusalo, new(ish) Abbot of Bodhinyanarama

Over the weekend we were privileged to have a visit by Ajahn Kusalo, who took over as Abbot of Bodhinyanarama, in Stokes Valley, near Wellington, earlier this year.

Ajahn Kusalo ordained there 21 years ago, so it was interesting to have a "home grown" Bhikkhu...
We had a talk on Friday night, and teaching on Saturday that started at 6am and concluded after 9pm. All very down-to-earth, making me realise how much I was getting distracted from practice by worrying about technicalities. This reality check is, to me, the great thing about interacting with genuine Sangha...
