Thank you Ajahn Gavesako! I've been waiting for this for a long time. Now I just need to figure out how to get a copy!

:namaste:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

Please let me know if you find where to get it. I am also very excited to read it.
A dying man can only rely upon his wisdom, if he developed it. Wisdom is not dependent upon any phenomenon originated upon six senses. It is developed on the basis of the discernment of the same. That’s why when one’s senses start to wither and die, the knowledge of their nature remains unaffected. When there is no wisdom, there will be despair, in the face of death.

It is being printed to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of Ajahn Chah in early 2018 and will be gradually distributed to all the branch monasteries overseas where people can get a free copy. Also a PDF and audio book will be available. Keep an eye on www.forestangha.org

Looks like Abhayagiri won't be mailing out copies to locals due to the considerable size of the book. I'll have to plan my next trip up there soon!

It certainly has, I remember Ajahn Jayasaro reading excerpts from it when I first visited WPN in 1996.
Pronouns (no self / not self)
“Peace is within oneself to be found in the same place as agitation and suffering. It is not found in a forest or on a hilltop, nor is it given by a teacher. Where you experience suffering, you can also find freedom from suffering. Trying to run away from suffering is actually to run toward it.”
