'Tupassa' sutta?

Post by Anukampati »

This week I attended a dhamma talk, where the speaker was discussing several suttas. I wrote down the name of one of them phonetically as "Tupassa Sutta." However, I'm not finding anything in web searches on this name.

The speaker described this sutta as "from the Buddha's pre-awakening ... a discussion of meditation practice ... a different presentation of jhana."

Is this ringing a bell to anyone? Can anyone correct my evidently incorrect spelling of the sutta name?

It sounds like you're looking for the Tapussa Sutta (AN 9.41).
