That's interesting Bhante
A few years ago I was involved in fundraising for a psychiatric research unit in Melbourne for trans-cranial magnetic stimulation of drug-treatment resistent patients suffering from depression with a TMS machine. I've also seen footage of magnetic stimulation affecting gross-motor coordination. I'm not surprised that magentic stimulation can also scramble - or even unscramble - brain functions relating to morality.
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road
