Re: mind needs some BIOS update
Confirmed. Also, I noticed that I can't bend my right thumb without bending the right index finger, whereas I can bend the right index finger without bending the right thumb, and I can also bend the left thumb without bending the left index finger. :cookoo:effort wrote:i bet this is a software bug!!

Can somebody check this thumb-phenomena? Maybe it's unique, I'm not sure.

Wow thats weird.
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …

Yeah, I can do that. Maybe I've got an older version without this error. Sometimes not updating has it's good points.

It depends how you draw your number 6, do you start at the top and spiral in or start at the center and spiral to the top?
Four types of letting go:
1) Giving; expecting nothing back in return
2) Throwing things away
3) Contentment; wanting to be here, not wanting to be anywhere else
4) "Teflon Mind"; having a mind which doesn't accumulate things

For me I think it's one of those things where having A.D.D. actually helps.Kenshou wrote:Yeah, I can do that. Maybe I've got an older version without this error. Sometimes not updating has it's good points.

I can do it! I thought I couldn't but I can.

I did manage to stop the foot reversal by slowing right down, like Meindzai said, but the first time I tried I didn't even notice my foot has changed direction until afterwards.
This thing about independence of finger and thumb, though ... no problem. Years of playing musical instruments is the most likely reason, which leads me to wonder whether a kit drummer would have any difficulty with the OP task.
Or a dancer.
Anyone?
