Shaila Catherine - Focused & Fearless

Post by salmon » Thu Jan 14, 2010 2:42 am

Hi all,

I chanced upon a very brief review about this Western Buddhist author and her new book. I've tried searching the Buddhist forums I know of but have come up with nought. Wondering if anyone here has read her book before? Or attended her retreats? I'm curious to see how she managed to simplify explanation and teachings (in the case of the book F&F, it's on samathat jhana).

Oh and please, let's not start a war on the pros & cons of samathat jhana. That is besides the point. Thanks!

Oh! Thank you so much!!!!

That's funny...I used "shaila", "shaila catherine", "catherine" in the search window and it yielded no results :shrug:

Thanks again! I'll go use that thread :)

I don't think the search function works properly. I just use Google:
site:http://dhammawheel.com/ shaila
http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ah ... =firefox-a" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
