Politics, economics. Not Tibetan Buddhism, as far as I can tell.

I am frustrated by strange questions.

So do you think there is an "essence" of Buddhism which is not present in Tibetan Buddhism? And if so, what do you think that essence is?

Not only has that child in the video grown up, he has also become a top-notch Buddhist teacher.

Of those phenomena which arise from causes:
Those causes have been taught by the Tathāgata,
And their cessation too - thus proclaims the Great Ascetic.

Osel returned to lay life, living in Spain with his girlfriend and pursuing a career in cinematography (ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenzin_%C3%96sel_Hita )

My opinion is that you are living in the 19th century when western ignorance (and prejudice arising from that ignorance) about the Tibetan tradition was rife.

My opinion is that one could only arrive at that proposition in one way: through historical, scriptural and philosophical ignorance. That's the flag you have risen, well done sir!

I was trying to understand why you claimed that Tibetan Buddhism "isn't really Buddhism".

Perhaps you could explain your statement?

There's some information about Tenzin Osel Hita here:

https://fpmt.org/fpmt/osel/

Excerpt:

The international FPMT family wishes Tenzin Ösel Hita a very happy birthday and a long, healthy life. May his beneficial activities flourish and wishes come instantly into fruition!

Tenzin Ösel Hita, the recognized reincarnation of FPMT founder Lama Yeshe, turns 33 on February 12, 2018.

Ösel’s 32nd year was a full one. In addition to giving talks at eleven European FPMT centers and one Brazilian center, Ösel and his partner Indila Dora welcomed their son, Tenzin Norbu, into the world.

There are probably a few beneficial practices but yeah it's nothing more than a Hindu corruption of Buddhist teachings.
