I recently watched "Seven Years In Tibet" and really enjoyed it, especially Jamyang Jamtsho Wangchuk's portrayal of HH The Dalai Lama.
I realised it was the only film about Buddhism I had seen although I have seen films that people find to have Buddhist themes.
Are there any films you can recommend me that are specifically about Buddhism? Or with Buddhist themes?

Re: Buddhist Movies
Hi, Veer-Zinda, there are already a few threads on buddhist movies here. I haven't got time to look for them just now, sorry, but they shouldn't be hard to find.

If you want one which is slightly more provocative, I recommend "Mindflesh". It is a horror movie, but done by a zen Buddhist group in the UK. I watched it with some non-buddhists who didn't get it, but it is probably the best Buddhist movie I have seen.

Just so we don't have multiple threads I am going to lock this one. Let's just continue in the original thread. Lot's of good stuff there.
Thanks.
