Is Discourse Sutta Central down for you too?

Post by Polar Bear »

Greetings fellow discussers,

Just wondering: is the Discuss & Discover forum for Sutta Central down for everyone else? It's down for me and it appears to be a problem for the site itself but I figured I'd ask just to check. Let me know, thanks.

yes, all day
Born, become, arisen – made, prepared, short-lived
Bonded by decay and death – a nest for sickness, perishable
Produced by seeking nutriment – not fit to take delight in

Departure from this is peaceful – beyond reasoning and enduring
Unborn, unarisen – free from sorrow and stain
Ceasing of all factors of suffering – stilling of all preparations is bliss

Is it a good strategy to have some liaison with other Dhamma discussion groups such as Dhamma Wheel to notify these events?

I'm happy for Dhamma Wheel to be used in this way.

I have not been able to connect to the Sutta Central Forum https://discourse.suttacentral.net/ today. Is it working for anyone else? I'm currently in Hong Kong, but it wasn't a problem yesterday, or when I was in China...

Note that it's the Discourse (discussion) site that I can't connect to. The sutta site: https://suttacentral.net/ is fine.

It'a been down a couple of days now (Norway)
If you didn't care
What happened to me
And I didn't care for you

We would zig-zag our way
Through the boredom and pain
Occasionally glancing up through the rain

Wondering which of the
Buggers to blame
And watching for pigs on the wing

It's a little foggy right now. Air quality is not good... But it's always exciting, and I did get to the Theravada Meditation group on Tuesday. Many of them were away in Thailand, so I didn't meet any of the people I knew when I was here ten years ago...
