My user name is taken from a conversation the protagonist (Tom Cruise) has with a samurai when learning the art of Japanese swordsmanship, in the film "The Last Samurai."

Samurai: Please forgive, too many mind.
Tom Cruise: Too many mind?
Samurai: Hai. Mind the sword, mind the people watch, mind the enemy, too many mind... [pause] no mind.

Your mind is distracted by too many things - the sword, the people who are watching you train, the opponent .. you have too many minds ... empty your mind .. have no mind. It is also called mushin in Japanese
My avatar is yin and yang. I seek harmony through balance - middle path.

My name ihr stands for ignorant hood rat :jumping: it was a name I previously wore as a badge of honor, as I used to be big into a rap-collective known as Odd Future who were famous for behaving like bone heads and saying whatever struck their fancy. I still keep it because it reminds me of the absoloutley stupid things we can get into when we're not mindful nor practicing the good way. Jordan is of course my first name.

My picture is of the Tsang dynasty Chinese Buddhist poet: Wang-Wei, who I developed a liking towards after reading one of his poems translated into the French language:

Je descendis de cheval je lui offris le vin de l'adieu,
et je lui demandai quel était le but de son voyage.
Il me répondit : je n'ai pas réussi dans les affaires du monde ;
je m'en retourne aux monts Nan-Chan pour y chercher le repos
vous n'aurez plus désormais à m'interroger sur de nouveaux voyages,
car la nature est immuable et, et les nuages blancs sont éternels

My username is my own name in Latin (Coëmgenus) with the -s taken off for no real reason.

I used to translate my name name into Sanskrit (Vimalajāti) but that ended up looking too much like accidentally impersonating a monk(!), so I went with Latin when joining the forum.
