Share your dreams.
==============
75. Dreams
“What is this thing that people call a dream and who
dreams it?”
“It is a sign coming across the path of the mind. There
are six kinds of dreams. A person affected by wind sees a
dream, a person affected by bile, by phlegm, by a deity, by
their own habits, by a premonition. It is only the last of
these that is true, all the others are false.”
“When one dreams a dream is one awake or asleep?”
“Neither one nor the other. One dreams when one
sleeps ‘the monkey’s sleep’, which is midway between sleep
and consciousness.”

Last night I dream about a cat trapped in a dark hole.
I try to take him out but failed, so I went and seek help from some people.
When I came back, the cat managed to get out of the hole by itself.
It was tired and fragile but was very alert.

"It's shame that when we have a good dream, we have to be asleep at the time."

I think we dream more when we are awake.

I very rarely have dreams, or I can't remember them when I wake up. I don't remember last time I had a dream, or what was it about. Also I sleep like a log. Maybe these two things are related, don't know.

Part of the Lyrics:

So many times you tried to take the best of me.
So many times, now you're gonna take the rest of me.
Better look at what you're doing before it's too late.
It's a fine line you're treadin' between love and hate.

Maybe I should sing that verses to my nasty Sankhara..

I think this is the song which inspired the eurythmics for sweet dreams:

I used to dream that I lived in a huge city on a mountainside and I had to ski to school. I mean, what is better than that?

I sometimes have religious dreams.
From scenes from hell (although not ones I have read or heard about) to chanting Hindu mantras to Buddhist monks.
I once had a fancy metaphysical dream where I dreamt that I burnt to death in a forest fire: I was caught in a forest fire, my body burnt away (while I was alive; I could distinctly tell when my ears burnt off and I didn't hear anything anymore, although I didn't feel pain), then there was a short period of total blackness (like the closest I can imagine to nothingness), and then I "woke up" in a meadow as if nothing happened -- but all this in a dream.
