searching Dhamma groups in San Diego Ca or Yuma Arizona

Post by mario92 »

Im thinking in going to San Diego or some place near the border to encounter with some buddhists. Which group do you recommend me to visit or asist in order to practice the dhamma, have a dhamma meeting, talk about dhamma doing some service of dana, or practice meditation, i request for a group from san isidro that is nearer to the border or some Dhamma group near San Diego city (it wouldnt be bad) or near the border in California, so it would be easy to me ;). :woohoo:

I will be grateful if you recommend me one, thank you :thanks:

If you're willing to travel a bit further, Metta Forest Monastery is north of San Diego. I've never been but it's probably worth the trip if you've never been to a monastery before.

Below are some links to Theravada or non-sectarian Buddhist spots...although some sites don't exist anymore (not sure about these)...there are many more near the border but most are Mahayana, Vajrayana, etc...
