I eat primarily brown rice, veggies, beans, occasional bits of chicken or fish. On Saturdays, I gobble some soft noodle chicken chow mien from the Chinese cafe down the street, mindful of every flavorful bite...can't get enough of the greasy funky stuff.

In other words, my diet is Theravada inspired for 6 days of the week, and Vajrayana inspired on Saturday.

To make it a little more interesting I thought I'd include a picture as well. I love food, btw, and would always love to see pics of food. So put them up if you have anyway. (I'm obviously feeling hungry now).

Greetings zavk,

I'm tipping you'd like the Reece's Pieces thickshake at Misty's Diner in Prahran.

Metta,

The best peanut butter in the universe - no sugar, just like when I was a kid.

When I went to Edinburgh a couple of years ago I had to teach my friend Scott how to make porridge!

I love cold roast potatoes (especially the over-done ones) with a little knob of butter.

And I was born severely jaundiced. I wasthe most delightful sunflower-yellow, for about two weeks.....!
My liver's not what it should be, and coupled with a blood condition (thalassemia) means I have to pay attention to my proteins....
So as a kid, my mum used to mix a whole egg with breadcrumbs, a little salt and lemon juice, and serve it to me as a raw "patty".
I still love it now, although occasionally, I'll shallow-fry it for about 4 minutes either side, and eat it with a rocket salad, and a piece of fresh buffalo mozzarella....

I also love cheese strings, dipped until they melt, into veggie pot-noodles.

I am so disgusting, really.... :rolleye: :jumping:

I make my own peanut butter.
Organic salted peanuts and peanut oil is all you need.
And a good food processor......
