I am listening to the Dhammacakkhapavattaba sutta

I have 3 versions one by Amaravati, WPN, & Abhiyagiri my fave is by Amaravati but different to this one faster, although the Abhiyagiri version is better quality.

You can see it transcribed here using Uncial script here (minus the gods section due to lack of parchment of the same colour at the time)

Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

a very strange choice for now, but the music is lovely and was in a box with other gifts, a Kuan Yin statue and incense way back in 1989.

Cittasanto, maybe a mp3 is more portable: http://www.youtube-mp3.org/#v=LEr2eoWQk0E" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Very useful service for downloading dhamma talks from youtube as well :)

If you see any unskillful speech (or other action) from me let me know, so I can learn from it.

“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”

was just discussing with someone if silence is a form of lying. This song came to mind. Great little dance number.
