How do you use the quote button in DW?

Post by SarathW »

In Sutta Central when I highlight a sentence it shows the "quote symbol.
How to use the same function in DW?

The function doesn't exist.
Yena yena hi maññanti,
tato taṃ hoti aññathā.

In whatever way they conceive it,
It turns out otherwise.

I dont think you can. The two closest approaches are to...

1. Quote a post and edit out the extraneous information

Or...

2. Copy and paste the required tract of text into a new post, highlight it and press the quote button.

The latter option may be quicker, but it won't retain the author name of other meta-data, which you can add in manually if you want.

Paul. :)
