The forum software doesn't allow members to change it themselves, but if you notify one of the admins they will do it for you.BhikkhuDhammomhi wrote:can you change your name on this forum? i am not a bhikkhu but did not understand what the words i put together meant; i would like to keep same email but have a different account name
Yena yena hi maññanti,

In whatever way they conceive it,
It turns out otherwise.

I have removed the 'bhikkhu' part of the username. Let me know if you'd like it changed to something else, here or in PM.

Re: name change
Greetings,
Probably not. Do you want it?
Do you mean it in the sense of "protector of the Dhamma" or "protected by the Dhamma"?
Metta,
Paul.

Re: name change
my friend said it is protector of the dhamma
he changed my facebook chat nickname to that after i had called him a heretic
we'd gotten into an argument about a picture of jesus and buddha side by side.
it would be neat to go by that name because he picked it out instead of me. and he has taught me the most about dhamma so far
i will miss sovatthika tho
can i make a new account and link it to this one

Re: name change
Greetings,
Hold on, and I'll delete the new account, which will enable me to rename this one.
UPDATE: And it is done...
Metta,
Paul.
Better for me to rename your existing account.
