the quality of discussion has improved due to that though.
:sage:
Agree.
What do you need?
Quantity or the quality?

I don't need anything, I'm quite content, thank you. :meditate:

I'd like to see both quality and quantity, but if I had to choose, I'd go with quality. A 4chan sandbox might have lots of traffic, but what's the use of that? Quality is best, but having quantity too would be even better.

It's not growing because it is hemorrhaging new posters and old.

Sublime & free, what is that obscured Eternity?
It is the Undying, the Bright, the Isle.
It is an Ocean, a Secret: Reality.

Binocular, for example, left because of the horrible culture of posting here. And she was a very tough cookie to hang out here as long as she did.

When was this? Binocular was posting in the last 24 hours. Has she PM'd you in the interim?

AFAIK we've both stopped serious attempts at communication here.

It would be inappropriate to share PMs with you.

Nobody is asking you to. My point is merely that Binocular was posting - in an apparently serious vein - yesterday.

Well, my apologies for gossip.

IMO "apparently serious", having read the post in question, is a misrepresentation. Strictly IMO

Sorry, I'm now a bit lost. Binocular was posting, and her posts seemed the same as ever. If she wasn't being serious, then that's up to her, and I (and others) must have missed the irony.

Regardless, DhammaWheel is hemorrhaging posters.

Just look at what this forum used to be in 2014. Or even 2016.

Its present state is a shame.

There seem to be mixed reviews up-thread. My advice would be to be the change you want to see, and use the suggestion box to propose positive changes. :anjali:

Lotuses do very well, though.
