I'm confident someone could definitely clarify this term, if you'd clarify your question.

Try asking the same question again, using different words.

All or most Indian religions use the word "Dhamma" or "Dharma". It means "support". The Buddha's Dhamma is called "Buddha-Dhamma". It is different from Krishna-Dharma and other Dharmas.

There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

Differentiating it from Hinduism, Theravada dhamma includes the major element of vipassana, the process of the cutting of the fetters which bind beings to the cycles of samsara, while the samatha meditation originating in Hinduism only suppresses the hindrances temporarily. The former development was inaugurated by the Buddha. The elements of the Theravada path have two interacting themes which are necessary to activate vipassana, the samatha factors are passive, and the insight factors active. Understanding the dynamics of Theravada requires a dualistic outlook leading to maintaining the balance of the middle way.
