Hello from New Zealand :)

Post by Chookidoo »

Hi I'm Kindu :)

I resonate a lot with the Dhamma teachings of Thai Forest tradition. Love forest monasteries. Been practicing for the last 10 years.
Right now I find Thanissaro Bhikku's teachings so so helpful. Just wondering if there is any other New Zealanders on this forum.
There is a possibility of Thanissaro Bhikku coming to NZ in 2020 and would love to link up with other NZers who find his teachings helpful

Hello Chookidoo, I'm down in Dunedin. Not for too long though, in a year or so I'll be heading north to be near the monastery in the Hutt Valley, or maybe back to Perth to be near the monastery there.
Where are you based?

Welcome!

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
