Vitor, from Brazil

Post by Vitor_N »

Hello fellow Dhamma Wheelers!

I'm Vitor, from Brazil. I am 27 years old and have been working on my graduate studies. I had some contact with Theravada Buddhism through dhamma talks and writings - mostly by Thanissaro Bhikkhu and Ajahn Chah - some years ago. I went through a very tough period in my life during which I stopped studying and meditating (ca. 3/4 years). My interest in Theravada Buddhism has regrown recently and since the city I live in does not have any buddhist communities nor groups as far as I know, I study and practice it by myself. I decided to look for a forum where I could share experiences, learn, and, hopefully, also help others, that's why I am here.

Metta,

Welcome!

:namaste:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
