Hello from Sweden

Post by VipassanaSwede »

Hello,

New member here.
I live in Stockholm, Sweden. Father, archivist, turning 50 in a couple of years. (I feel like I'm 40, though.)

First got interested in Buddhism, in a very general sense, about twenty years ago.
Started my vipassana meditation practice in 2010, found my sangha here in Stockholm, went to a couple of week-long retreats.

Unfortunately I lost track of it all, I'm not exactly sure why... Became a father, the years passed... Things happen.

Now I feel my inner calling again. Maybe it's because I'm newly separated and going through a rough time, I don't know. Maybe it's my age.

Anyways, it's nice to be a member of Dhamma Wheel. I will mainly be a quiet reader here, won't be posting much, there is so much knowledge here, what can I possibly contribute.

Metta,

Welcome!

:namaste:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
