Hello friends
I relish the opportunity to talk about Dharma. I have learnt about Buddhism alone for 2 years (mostly through Access to Insight) and don’t have anyone to talk to on the subject that isnt sceptical.
I hope to learn much here and feel as though I have a Sangha.
Meta to all,

Which part of the UK are you in? ( I'm in Suffolk ). And are there any Buddhist groups locally that you could visit?
Buddha save me from new-agers!

Welcome Rai
There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

Welcome!
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

I’m based in the south of Cornwall (near Falmouth). The nearest temple to me is Plymouth (2.5hr drive) and they’re Kadampas I think
Re: Rai from UK
Maybe check the Buddhanet World Buddhist directory for the UK, to see if you've missed anything in your area? I think they show small groups, as well as temples, monasteries etc.
