Welcome back Chris!

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

Anicca . . . here they are together in 2011:

And since year 2011 three of the above have passed away. I watched many episodes back in the 1970s.

Are those two ladies in the old photo?
Who is the Kotter in the new photo?
Could you name the old photo from left to right and the new one as well?
Thanks

No, but they were in the show.

Ron Palillo, who played Arnold Horshack on "Kotter," died of an apparent heart attack in Florida on Aug. 14, 2012. He was 63. Palillo's character was known for his phrase, "Ooh, ooh! Mr. Kotter!" and his distinct laugh. But the actor failed to find fame when the show went off the air in 1979. He had a few odd roles in movies and television shows, but not solid stardom.
(Horshack is in the back row, left in the video photo, not in the 2011 photo)

Robert Hegyes played Juan Epstein on "Welcome Back, Kotter." The actor died in his Metuchen, N.J., home on Jan. 26, 2012, at age 60. After "Kotter," Hegyes starred in "Cagney and Lacey," as well as "NewsRadio," "Diagnosis Murder" and "The Drew Carey Show." Hegyes also taught acting and wrote screenplays.
(Epstein is in the back row, right in the video photo and second from left in the 2011 photo)

Marcia Strassman starred as Julie Kotter. Although she appeared in several series, including "Noah Knows Best" and "Providence," and starred in the films "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" and "Honey, I Blew Up the Baby," Strassman did not become a household name. In 2007, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which spread to her bones. She died on October 24, 2014, at age 66, after her long battle with breast cancer.
(not in the video photo, but in the 2011 photo third from left)

"Kotter" is the teacher in original photo with the mustache. He's still alive. "Freddie Washington" is the African-American actor. None of the actors and actresses did any where near as successful as John Travolta "Vinny" in the show.
