Hello, I welcome you warmly

Post by FallAway »

Hellos all around. I've been a practising lay Buddhist for almost a decade, on my own. I came into Buddhism through the Theravada teachings, looked into others from this safe home base and will likely remain with it.

Looking forward to learning and sharing. :namaste:

Thank you for your welcomes. Would like to tag you all but don't know how yet.

I'd like to participate in the study groups and discussions in time. Is there one particular version of the Canon that is used when we study as a group? If so, could I get a link or links to a free PDF download? Want to be on the same page as everyone else!

Still reading around...lots to click into, all very interesting. Will enjoy getting to know the forum and members of my new Sangha.

Welcome!

:namaste:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

Thank you both. Enjoying the threads and discussions very much. I like the "keep it real" feeling I'm getting. Best place of all to practice in...the what is.
