Greetings from Los Angeles

Post by c.smith » Thu Feb 23, 2017 6:18 am

So excited to have found this forum. Have considered myself Hindu for many, many years but current meditation practices have Buddhist practices coming to light. Now there are an abundance of questions. Hopefully they will end up in the correct sub-forums.

Looking forward to meeting forum members and reading/learning from posts. Much to gain here. In this regard, many thanks and hope to be able to contribute in some small way as well.

All the best.

To study is to know the texts,
To practice is to know your defilements,
To attain the goal is to know and let go.

- Ajahn Lee Dhammadharo

With no struggling, no thinking,
the mind, still,
will see cause and effect
vanishing in the Void.
Attached to nothing, letting go:
Know that this is the way
to allay all stress.

- Upasika Kee Nanayan
