Hi From Orlando Florida!

Postby ryanlibrarian » Wed Dec 21, 2016 12:10 pm

Hello to everyone,

Several months ago I moved to Orlando from the Gulf Coast (Sarasota). In Sarasota, I had been an irregular but very interested attendee at Dharma teachings given by a former Buddhist monk. He has an interesting life story and I learned a great deal from him. I am very thankful to have stumbled upon his group. Now I am in a city with a wide variety of Buddhist groups from many different traditions. There is a truly gorgeous Cha'an temple not far from my apartment building. I am still learning ... and very willing to learn. I love what I see here in these forums and look forward to some interesting conversations.
