My name is Walter and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I started practicing two years ago, after attending a 10-day Vipassana course in the tradition of S.N. Goenka. I read the forum since then looking for inspiration from the more experienced ones who have been walking the path and live according to the teachings of the Buddha.
I hope to get to know serious meditators from all over the world, and specially from Argentina.

Admirable friendship, admirable companionship, admirable camaraderie is actually the whole of the holy life.

We do have some South American members but I'm not sure if any are from Argentina. Have you tried Buddhanet? http://www.buddhanet.info/wbd/Walter wrote:I hope to get to know serious meditators from all over the world, and specially from Argentina.

“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”

Welcome Walter!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.

Welcome!
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
