It's also the end of love, happiness and desire to exist. And nothing clear about consciousness.
It's like a computer which was turned off... Zero point.

Doubtful pleasure for me)

Re: Is there consciousness in Nibbana?

“There is no eye, Phagguna, by means of which one describing the Buddhas of the past could describe them—those who have attained final Nibbāna, cut through proliferation, cut through the rut, exhausted the round, and transcended all suffering. There is no ear by means of which one describing the Bu...

Re: Is there consciousness in Nibbana?

Hi, SarathW

It's an absolutely natural thing to want to know where I'm going to.
It's strange not to know where you are going to.
Jhanas - yes, I'm acquianted with them.

Re: What will happen to an Arhant / Anagami if his body was destroyed while he is in Nirodha Samapatti

Not according to the Theravada. yes. As I know from books, Mahayana's and Dzogchen's final fruit is a liberated boundless consciousness. So, it means, according to the Theravada that an Arahant finally comes to an incouncious state?... What is the difference then between Nirodha and Assanna samapat...

Re: jhanas and nirodha?...

Hi, Dmytro. I've read the attaced file given by Bhante Dhammanando in the topic by your link above. What I found there is: Those who have received but do not yet believe in the teachings on the Storing Consciousness, if they are born in the rüpyE (realms), will not produce this (nirodha)samäpatti, s...

Good time, Bhante. I've read your attached file and it seems to me there is great news (quotation:) "Those who have received but do not yet believe in the teachings on the Storing Consciousness, if they are born in the rüpyE (realms), will not produce this (nirodha)samäpatti, since they will be...

Re: Fear of emptiness

We are all the ocean of bliss :) i will keep in mind. . Careful with that. Bliss is impermanent, therefore it is also not self. Of course you are right. I've badly formulated my idea)) Bliss is impermanent and anatta. Lotus flower's fear is just the same - impermanent and anatta. The bliss is typic...

Re: Fear of emptiness

Good time, my friend. sometimes i feel strong fear. Fear of the fact that i am nothing. Fear of non self. In daytime life you feel like a little drop. While being in samadhi, you feel like being ocean. The fear comes from ignorance, from the idea that your personality can disappear in the ocean))) A...

Re: (PARI)Nibbana is unconscious? so, what's the use of it

This is simply a consciousness that doesn't take any objects as "mine". An arahant sees an image in the mirror but knows that what is seen is not "his, him or himself". It's just a body. Thoughts, feelings, perceptions and even consciousness are not taken to be his. They all ari...

Re: (PARI)Nibbana is unconscious? so, what's the use of it

Thank everybody for the comments.

Now I'm exploring the question of vinnanam anidassanam. It seems to me so necessary, because without it all the path seems to be useless. Though mentioned in some suttas only, it changes EVERYTHING in perceiving Dhamma. Clearness and calm arise in me.

Consciousness without feature,[1]
without end,
luminous all around:
thank you, jnak, it's helpful for me, yesterday I've been given some more links about it (in Russian language).
this question is to be attentively explored.
