It appears no one answer directly to the question , which is , is it sense of I am i.e. conceit , still give rise to the view of I am or not ?
Failing .
It depended on whether you are a lay person or an Arahant.
Arhants also think this as I am, me, myself etc without grasping.

Re: Guidance on Anger

If you get up early she may complain that you disturb her sleep by getting up early. Here the person who complains at thi...

Re: How does conceit arises ?

Conceit = I making. "I am better", "I am equal", "I am inferior", all = conceit Are you saying the sense of I am = conceit , and is synonymous with the view of I am ? Depends on what you mean by that. If you mean self identity view, AKA the 1st fetter, no. Although, it could easily be called "a vie...

“Mendicants, when what exists, because of grasping what and insisting on what, do people think ‘I’m better’ or ‘I’m equal’ or ‘I’m worse’?” “Our teachings are rooted in the Buddha. …” “When there’s an eye, because of grasping the eye and insisting on the eye, people think ‘I’m better’ or ‘I’m equal’...

Re: How does conceit arises ?

Due to inappropriate attention or tanking five aggregate or six sense bases as I, me and myself.
By the way, what do you understand when you say "conceit"?
Could you explain your understanding?

Re: Enough?

You can't attain Jhana or Nibbana by forces.
When you follow the Noble Eightfold Path it is a natural progression to Jhana and Nibbana.

Re: Japanese-speaking Theravada monasteries or monks?

I think, learning to depend on how desperate you are. I was born to no-English speaking parents had little exposure to Pali. I need to learn English and I did not have a teacher. So I started reading billboards and started listening to English / Sinhal news translations and read English / Sinhala tr...

Re: Thankfulness

Gratitude is an important quality: Bhikkhus, the manifestation of three [persons] is rare in the world. (1) Tathāgata, (2) A person who teaches the Dhamma and discipline proclaimed by the Tathāgata (3) A grateful and thankful person. Concerning vipassana I think the more benefit you get from vipass...
