Re: what kind of tea is best for meditation?

Agree. But it is not Mucha Green tea. It should be matcha tea. Matcha green tea is the cheaper version. For instance, matcha green tea cost about $8.00 per 500 grams and the same cost for 50g of Mucha. However, both are equally beneficial even though I like Matcha. I take matcha almost every day and...

Yes this is quite normal.
Assuming that you are not an Arahants and you have more work to be done, perhaps it seems you are consolidating.

conceit is identity

the "I am" feeling
Does feeling I am still give rise to identity view ?
Not for Sotapanna and Arahants etc.
Sotapanna has eradicated the personality view (Sakkaya Dithi)

What is the destination of the people who get Buddha's teachings wrong?

What is the destination of the people who get Buddha's teachings wrong? For instance some think self view is just a strategy . Others think Nibbana is a real place or arahants do not exist after death. Basically the question is what is the destination for people with wrong view? What about the peopl...

Re: How does conceit arises ?

Surely as indicated in text If you are sotapanna ,sakadagamin or anagamin still have conceit . Agree. It appears you are cofusing between self view and self identification. could you explain self identification and self view in plain English ? 1)People used to think that the world is flat. (this is...

Re: Where (which link) do fetters fitting in Dependent origination?

Arahants have eliminated ten fetters hence they have eliminated ignorance.
So perhaps fetters are fitting to the first link ignorance.

It appears no one answer directly to the question , which is , is it sense of I am i.e. conceit , still give rise to the view of I am or not ?
Failing .
It depended on whether you are a lay person or an Arahant.
Arhants also think this as I am, me, myself etc without grasping.

Re: Guidance on Anger

You can accept it as a challenge 'I will not get angry in this dire situation' :guns: or you can just tell the wife. ' hey wifey do you mind' :D Agree. This is a tough question. If you get up early she may complain that you disturb her sleep by getting up early. Here the person who complains at thi...

Re: How does conceit arises ?

Conceit = I making. "I am better", "I am equal", "I am inferior", all = conceit Are you saying the sense of I am = conceit , and is synonymous with the view of I am ? Depends on what you mean by that. If you mean self identity view, AKA the 1st fetter, no. Although, it could easily be called "a vie...
