during my sitting, i did always sit with this knower and cultivating that sense, currently i just change my way to just 'being', its soon for me to compare them, the reason i change my way is because i found always keeping knower up is tiring and that wont look right. Joseph Goldstein says ask yours...

wow, last month i decided to sleep soon but it last just for a couple of days, by the way i think it is very hard to find quite place, even in thailand monasteries geckos are really noisy!!

mindfulness vs concentration

when someone mindful of breathing,he knows breathing process,or " there is breathing", and could keep the mind on breathing process and keep the knowing mind and cultivate some type of calm mind over object. BUT correct me if i'm wrong : someone could concentrate on breathing process without knowing...

there is an online full view of Abhidhamma in google book. i think what you suggest is to apply vipassana approach; acknowledge and observe. I would investigate whether there is fear involved when thinking about the possiblity of losing this "knowing" ... "forgetting the knowing". forgetting the kno...

wow, i dont think you need the lables in that book, you have more than that, but what i liked was something like thinking about time and amount of maditation and lable it;planing...
I mean the relation between the mind state and lables, but not have too many labels...

is sayadaw u thunaza health condition o'right? I was there some years ago and sayadaw had some health issue.

recently i was reading jeff oliver's book, "see it know it watch it go"; i enjoyed the labels in the book, it is a free dhamma book, maybe you can found it in web.

i noticed that when i paying attention to the body feeling it is merged with image of that part of the body. so if i pay attention to the feeling of my hand ( which i take the feeling as real ) also the image of the hand is in mind ( which i take that as mind generated picture, which is not real ). ...

it looks like that at the first glance its neutral. let me give you example, if i search for a movie and i look into mind and i dont get anything special then i say its neutral? there must be something behind it, same as in everyday life, when i'm working i show different interests into work in thos...

do people get the correct answer from this question? when i ask myself " how is mind" how much i get the true answer , even not by words, by feeling the answer, how deep is the answer? how do you look for the answer? by word or by feeling? do you ask this question from yourself? how much you trust y...
