Also, liberation through jhanas is called in Canon : liberation by non-clinging.

Re: What is embryo thinking?

The human in embryo stage (say first week) haven’t developed six senses. (at least five senses) The reference in regard to embryo in teaching is to say that “O’monk, Radiant is this consciousness “. Re: vipassana craziness

I am agree with Buddha Soap, Peoples have to be informed about particularities of Goenka (semi-marathon) method. And after, they can take their own choice. There is no surprise with these retreats. The schedules are made known before participating in them, and there is plenty of information on the ...

Re: Compassion and i am.

I also wonder why I chose to post in this forum and not dharmawheel, I know so little and what theravada or mahayana is or why I need to choose between the two or which one is right. I need to empty my cup, what to do next. Hello Papashaw, I asked on Dharmawheel 'what is heart of teachings of Mahay...

If I trip over a chair in the darkness, does the pain come from the darkness or from the chair or from my action? And you don't mention conceit at all. :namaste: Kim Interesting similie  I thi...
