A Navy Special Warfare Unit. They got chewed out for it, but little else ... they’ve been chewed out before.

I'm being polite. I know Twilight hates that... If you know of such a passage, please quote it, in context.
My response is for you to show why you think such. I have already shown my own work on this topic on this forum.

Re: My criticism of Thanissaro and other "half selfers"

I didn't think it was at all facile when I listened to it, but it was some time ago. Perhaps I'll come across it again at some point, in which case I'll post it. Please do pass that along, even if only in PM. However, as far as I can see, I think BB is correct that there is no sutta that explicity ...

... What I meant was that there are a few hundred hours of lectures on the MN, not a few hundred on not self... Understandable but context is everything. Re: My criticism of Thanissaro and other "half selfers"

A few hundred hours, really? That Bodhi would devote so much time to such a facile opinion. Disappointing though not surprising leaned against so many others who for the last century were also strangely piqued by this topic. The tough-minded teachings of the Tathāgata are not for the faint of heart.

...if you've spent some time reading and listening to Bhikkhu Bodhi, you'll find that he doesn't see it so black and white as you are presenting. I've heard him say on one or two of his recorded talks that in the suttas there is no explicit statement that there is no self. That is fantastic conside...

Re: Here Comes the Wall

To restrict illegal immigration, Trump has promised to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border and to deport illegal migrants living inside the United States. That's a little misleading. I think the plan is to deport undocumented immigrants with criminal records, then to work out a policy on how to ...
