Re: Fake News

I read a comment today, in which someone succinctly rolled together a few of the concurrent investigations (e.g. Uranium One, Russian Interference, FISA abuses, Clinton Foundation) into a brief summary. If their suggestion of what is going on is even remotely true, things are going to get very inte...

In the Cakkhu Sutta (SN 25.1) the sappurisa is said to have transcended the plane of the puthujjana, cf. Atthasalini 349 as well. Just something to keep in mind when discussing people of integrity from a worldly perspective.

Re: Fake News

I thought the liberal media thoroughly debunked the Uranium One scandal. It'll be interesting to see how they spin this, or will it be more or less censored out of their news cycle?

Re: Trump - One Year

His critics are so predictable and so easy to troll. Personally I suspect talk of a military parade is laying the groundwork for wedging the Democrats further towards extreme far left... I think President Trump really does love his country, so it isn’t purely a tactical maneuver. He got the idea du...

Re: Trump - One Year

When he views the parade I'd love the President to trick himself out in khaki or camouflage, if only to scare the beejeemees out of his critics.

Re: Trump - One Year

There have been some abuses of the H-1B Visa Program. The Trump Administration just wants to address those abuses and to set up a program that favors Americans and secures their jobs, rather than granting visas for people living abroad to replace them. With the increase in corporate investment in th...

Re: Trump - One Year

The FISA memo probably does have some bias, but it is noteworthy that the Republicans do seem to be pushing for transparency over what happened.

Re: Trump - One Year

The Democrats and the FBI will have the opportunity to challenge the memo. It will stand or fall on its own merits. Frankly, I think it would be best just to vet the thousand or so documents used in compiling the memo and to release them to the public. Transparency is a good thing: had the memo been...

Re: Bannon tells all in new book about Trump

Former Trump political strategist Steve Bannon apologized Sunday for unflattering comments attributed to him in the recently released Trump White House tell-all “Fire and Fury,” saying he “regrets” his delayed response and that he continues to support the president. Bannon expresses 'regret' for co...
