Wow Bhante, I wish there was something like that in my country...it was a huge problem here at one time and even now they are still all over the place...at one time limited to wearing Theravada Monastics' robes and then they started donning Chinese Mahayana Buddhist ones too...and yet some Malaysian...

Well, if I may add, as a lay person, no Mahayana temple is gonna stop anyone from doing their own meditation sittings on a quiet day or dropping a coin in the poor box....not sure if your area has a Mahayana temple that organises Theravada events/practice cos in my country we have some of such 'open...

No Bubba, as there was no necessity as of yet. And it wasn't a 'life threatening' situation as in real life situation and have no wish to pursue a 'non-essential' matter. Have kept a copy of the conversation just as a back-up...one never knows when it may come in handy...

Once upon a time....a conversation started....between 2 chatters...A & B...just occasional chatters... Day 1 A had some tough luck in a foreign land...even lost financial resources...with little left.. But still managed to get a flight to return back to A's country of origin...transiting at B's coun...
