Talks about personal experience with arupa jhana(s)
Has anybody got any YouTube videos etc of teachers/monastics who have and describe their personal experience with the jhanas (particularly the arupa jhanas)?

Re: Does anybody know where I can request some or these chanting books?
That would increase the likelihood that it is indeed Ed Stauffer's book. Ajahn Suchart, the abbot of Wat Yan, would often come to stay at Wat Boworniwet at the time when Stauffer was a monk there and they stayed in the same section of the wat. Brilliant! Thank you for the follow up info. Your knowl...

Re: Does anybody know where I can request some or these chanting books?
I’m not 100% sure, but I believe it’s one that was compiled by the American Ed Stauffer when he was a monk at Wat Boworniwet from 1985-7. After he disrobed he set up a computer typesetting company in Bangkok and printed a few copies of the book. I don’t think it will be easy to get hold of a copy n...

Re: Entrance to the vinaya Vol 2
Are you talking about the vinayamuka? If so only a couple of pieces are available online (regarding boundaries...) In truth Cittasanto Hi Cittasanto, the link for the vinayamukha vol.2 has been posted above. I have a physical copy of vol.1 but, for anyone who may want an online version, I'm sure it...

Re: Entrance to the vinaya Vol 2
Since you're in Thailand I suspect it's worth looking around some bookshops. Buddhist Monastic Code Vol II is available on Access to Insight. I think that will be enough to learn what you need before ordaining. If you ordain in the right place you will get proper training. Thank you Venerable. I do...

There were some copies on amazon but were ridiculously priced (I think it was over $50). Any help would be much ap...
